Today we drove to Sandy to participate in the Relay for Life with my uncle, who is a skin cancer survivor. It was so different from what I am used to when it comes to running... and so great.
My six-year-old cousin had run over five miles by the time that I had left. She was joining me for every other lap around the track, and even though the miles were slow, it was really fun to run with her. Kisa came too, and although she is still a little young, she did a couple laps as well. I'm looking forward to the days when we can run together... she was a great cheerleader today.
