Workout Log 7/29/12

Distance: 6.32 miles   Time: 1:01:22   Avg Pace: 9:42

A great example of a run where pretty much everything went wrong and I just went for it anyway. About a mile in I was thinking about how terrible the run would be (left my ipod at the relay, sportsbra did not fit right, planned route was blocked, it was hot out, etc, etc). Instead I chose to think positively, got lost in daydreams about the Olympics, and totally turned it around. It was a bit slow, but it was a successful run in difficult circumstances.

Only 2.08 miles to run between now and Tuesday to hit my goal: a hundred mile month!
